THIS is
the concluding part of post on ‘How to Successfully Overcome Past Hurt’. Like
it was previously stated, some scholars argue that if you don’t deal with and
conquer the pains of yesterday, you may not enjoy the gains of today, and
indeed tomorrow.
Be prepared to open up. There may be no need
trying to deal with a painful past if one isn’t willing to open up on all
issues with a professional confidant. By opening up, the confidant can situate
the pains of the past and advise on the beauty of today and tomorrow. Trust is
key here.

Refuse blaming yourself and wallowing in regret.
There is always a tendency to blame oneself or destiny or indeed God when one
encounters troubles. While it is important to do a self-assessment and take
responsibility for your actions, you should also take the lead for your moving
forward. Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
Forgive. Enough cannot be said about forgiveness.
You cannot genuinely move forward if you are carrying the burden of
unforgiveness. I encourage you to listen to Episode 5 of The Next Level with Chukwuemeka audio for proven scientific
benefits of forgiveness.
Let yesterday
remain in the grave. Let bygone be bygone. Make a firm resolution to let yesterday
be and seize the opportunities of now! No time in human history offers such
opportunities as now! Time is short, life is transient. Live it now!!!!!
Remember to keep a date with The Next Level with Chukwuemeka
