THIS is a continuation from
the last post. I trust you are applying the nuggets shared in the last post.
Here are more quick and effective tips to help you succeed in 2015.
Let me begin by saying work
and diligence do not kill. If anything at all, hard smart work distinguishes
you. Do you want to be highly successful this year, then welcome to a year of
hard smart work. There are no alternatives.
Who is standing by you,
cheering you, directing you, and indeed chastising you? Who is genuinely
interested in your success, and feels he or she has a stake in your wellbeing?
I am not just talking about a spouse or parent or other family member, and
family members are crucial in life’s journey. I am also asking who is your
mentor or life coach? Who has passed that path before you and is useful as a
guide to you. And you can have mentors in different areas of your endeavor. You
need a mentor, you need mentors. So get a mentor. The internet provides a world
of opportunities for mentorship.
And talking about mentors,
you may never meet your mentor in your lifetime. I know this be heartbreaking,
but it is true. The point here is you must develop the discipline to read
books; books that uplift and empower. Learn to enrich yourself by learning from
others. Someone can therefore mentor you from his books, video and audio
programmes.
Isn’t it funny that we all
are encouraged to be successful and useful to the world, yet the world of
success is laced with criticism, lies and envy? You must therefore learn how to
handle criticism, false witness and envy. An open teeth does not equate to an
open heart. Friends I look forward, come December and beyond, to celebrating
with you on a next level different from where you are now. I invite you, come
lets walk together.
