Action is the most important word on the
journey of success. Many have heard of
it, many more have said they'll embrace it but few actually do. For almost
everyone, there's always something that needs to be done. Something new or
something old and it’s either difficult or easy. At every point in our lives,
there's always the need for us to take some action. Sometimes it's a decision,
other times it's something we need to do. Our lives are
just like a brick wall. The actions we take each day are the bricks that we lay
to get the kind of walls we want.
Everybody knows the importance of taking action but
not everyone is comfortable with taking action. Some postpone taking action so
many times over. Some would want somebody else to take the action on their
behalf. Others will not want to have anything to do with action. Here's what I
know, inaction is action in itself. Anytime you
fail to take a needed action, you've actually taken an action to rob yourself,
your future, your family and indeed the whole world of the infinite potential
in you.
Every time you hear from me. Sometimes I write or speak
to empower you, other times to motivate. I can write or speak every day of the
week but without you acting on what needs to be done, my messages are
completely useless. Getting ahead in life is 99% what
you do and only 1% what you know. Today, I want
to challenge you to take action. Is there something you've been
postponing for so long? A decision, a call, etc? Have you been finding many
excuses to back your inaction? Fear, lack or resources, timing, etc?
Well, the choice is yours. In failing to act, you're
acting to fail. You're robbing yourself opportunities. Enough
of the excuses and enough of everything else. 2016 is almost ended, but it is
still on. You can still make it. It's not too late to make a start. Get up and let's go. There's too much greatness in us
to lay fallow.
