It's Time To Re-fire

RECENTLY, I was under the teaching of Ugochukwu Omeogu during the Nigeria Rise Concert. I was blown away to put it mildly. His conviction, eloquence and results are un-assailed. Indeed you should always make efforts to leave your comfort zone and your terrain to hear others speak. It’s really empowering.  Mr. Omeogu shared some enriching nuggets I would also share on this edition.

He shared some aspects of his personal story, how he liked football but could not play because of his physical handicap. So he played football by coaching, beating the limitations he faced. What lesson to learn here, to beat your odds, just restrategise. If you can’t play football for whatever reason, you can coach a team to play football. Whatever you lose physically, you make up mentally. What you become is a product of what you were taught or learnt, not how you were born. Do not accept any limitations.

And just in case you know someone, I don’t want to believe you are one, someone, who feels threatened by the successes of others, leave these words with them; stopping other people from moving forward will not move you forward.

And to the topic of today’s edition titled, ‘Its time to re-fire’, even as the year comes to a close, always remember that ‘anytime you are at the gate of your destiny, a helper will come’, so press on, your helper is close by. See you at the banquet of your destiny.
