IT is probable
that the most painful phase of life will be when, all is said and done, one
looks back and wishes one had done some things one was passionate about earlier
on in life. The truth is that by taking the appropriate steps now, one doesn’t
have to experience that phase in one’s lifetime. One can live fulfilled, even if
one doesn’t become the richest man on planet earth. This article shows you how
to, slowly but surely, live your dream.
Let’s
first establish and agree that one can live his dreams, infact millions of
people are living their dreams, and you can be one of them.
Begin work on what you are passionate about. Even if you are in paid employment, you can still
make out time to enjoy your passion. If say for instance, you love working with
children and you are in a time-demanding job, you can start by volunteering to
work at the children’s section of your local faith based organisation. The
point here is begin to work on what you are passionate about and see the lines
fall in place for you.

Never forget that there is never enough money to start, so cut that
excuse. There is a lie that pops up when people want to
fulfill a passion, something that makes them happy and fulfilled, ‘I don’t have
the money to do this’, or ‘if only I had the money, I would have done so and so
and so. Settle this in your heart, there is never enough money to start. When I
started producing my broadcast, The Next
Level with Chukwuemeka in September, 2014, I had no money to hire a studio
or pay for some fancy editing, but I have had a broadcast of that nature on my
mind for a very long time. I just started, irrespective. Let me interest you,
every edition of The Next Level with
Chukwuemeka, including the current edition, is recorded and broadcast on my
mobile phone, believe it. Weekly I reach about 5,000 listeners on WhatsApp
alone, using a mobile phone. My blogs, like most blogs, are free to set up. You
only need an internet connection. For now, I have over one thousand combined daily
page views. So, cut the no money excuse and start now, start small.
For a lot of people the fear of making mistakes, being laughed at or
failing, would rather make them wait for the appropriate time, and I ask, when
is the appropriate time? Tomorrow, next
week, next month or year, when? It is better to start now and make mistakes, be
laughed at or indeed fail, or what I would rather refer to as get an unexpected
result than hide in your closet and wait for the appropriate time, that does
not exist. The time is now! By starting and continuing you learn many a great
lesson in that field, you gain experience. This is one time one can boldly say
nothing beats experience. And its experience that makes you an authority, a
consultant. Don’t we all want to be consultants at something? Then start now, gain
all the experience. There is no more appropriate time
as now.
Surround yourself with people who will help you develop a staying power, not whiners, grumblers or wailers. Stay
positive and look for others with positive energy. Check this link for some tips also. http://iamchukwuemeka.blogspot.com.ng/2016/04/important-lessons-on-excellence-you.html
